I am an Artist, and The Artist\u2019s Way<\/a><\/em><\/strong> helped me remember that. As part of my artistic recovery, I\u2019m making more time for writing and drawing. One way of doing that is through art prompts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve re-discovered these Art Club<\/a><\/em><\/strong> prompts by Lorna Scobie that I\u2019ve had for a while:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, I pulled prompts 6<\/strong> and 26<\/strong> from the deck: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art Club prompts 6 (draw apple shapes and color each of them in a different way) and 26 (draw a page of stars in any style you like).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

They were fun, even though apples and stars are harder to draw than I originally imagined :) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prompt 6: Draw apple shapes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For materials, I used dry media paper, colored pencil and chalk pastels. I think my favorite might be the greenish-yellow with hints of red apple that\u2019s 2 columns over, 3 rows down. Second place goes to the yellow-red apple that\u2019s 3 columns over, 2 rows down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prompt 26: Draw a page of stars<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For this prompt, I drew digitally using my iPad, Apple Pencil, and Procreate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
